The Slithering Sythians

Only in the deepest caverns do the Sythians live. Below the land of spiders and outside the realm of the darklings, the Sythians rule with a terrible might. Wielding their fire and their scaly emerald magic, no other sentient creature dare to enter that place they call home. Sythian raiding parties often venture to the surface to make slaves of the men like creature they find, and it is only from a handful of escapees that their presence is even known. Known and feared above all.
